Meridian's Remotely Operated Vehicles
The Comanche is a light work class ROV (3,000 MSW) configured to provide high thrust and lift capability. It features a seven thruster propulsion system, a powerful control system, Schilling Orion manipulators, hydraulic tooling system, survey interfaces and generous payload capacity. The Comanche is equipped with an additional hydraulic power unit to accommodate further tooling and skids to support various IMR tasks. The Comanche is especially effective in long tether excursions and deep live-boating operations and requires less deck space than hydraulic work class systems.
Sub-Atlantic Super Mohawk
The Super Mohawk ROV can execute many of the tasks currently carried out by work class vehicles and is suitable for a variety of deployments including observation, survey, pipelay support, light to medium work and NDT inspections. The Super Mohawk not only provides high quality video for inspection work but also has the capabilities for running a number of tool packages such as torque tools, high pressure water jetting pumps and small hydraulic or electric manipulators.
Saab Seaeye Lynx
The Saab Seaeye Lynx is widely regarded as one of the leading observation and inspection-class ROVs based on its versatility and increased capability in mid-water inspection and light work deployments. The Lynx is extremely stable and compact and operates in either a containerized or LARS-deployed format. The Lynx is ideal for high-current inspection environments and requires minimal deck footprint to dramatically reduce mobilization costs.
